Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza is an actress comedian and actress born June 26th, 1984. She stars as April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. The first web-based series she appeared on was the Jeannie Tate Show following the time she performed improv, sketch and slapstick comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. She continued her career with guest appearances in Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim and vs. World. Her birth should be celebrated today. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) and David Plaza (a financial specialist), was born on Wilmington Delaware. Her mother was Irish as well as English as was her father, who comes from Puerto Rico. Plaza received a degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and a Catholic, all-girls college in 2006, after having graduated in 2002. She was president of her student body at her high school and was a part of Wilmington Drama League productions during her senior year. Plaza had a stroke 2004 when she was in college. She was diagnosed with expressive aphasia. She also experienced a brief period of paralysis. Her recovery is complete. Plaza has been performing improv comedy and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two venues in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed stand-up comedy. Plaza was in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show in the role of Robin Gibney and was also featured as Ben Schwartz, as well as appearing as Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions. Troopers on CollegeHumor was where Plaza played the role of Princess, a satirical Sci-Fi character. Plaza was the first saxophonist to debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She first appeared on Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' in the year 2012. HarmonQuest featured Plaza in 2016 for her role as Hawaiian Coffee the gnome. She played Aaron Burr, in Drunk History. And Cat Adams on Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds. The actress made an impressive appearance as the character in Season 12. The following year she was announced Plaza was set to appear in the comedy show An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
