Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also head of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is well-known for starting modern scientific studies of children's memory as eyewitnesses and also the application of child victims in court settings. Her publications are numerous and she has been awarded numerous grants and is the recipient of many honors both national and internationally. She has offered consulting on research and policy for numerous government agencies and departments across the world. She is also a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a member of Psychonomics Society as well as the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
