Anika Noni Rose is an American actor and singer. Her most well-known role is voicing Tiana the first Disney African-American princess as Tiana Disney's first African-American princess in The Princess and the Frog. Disney Legend was bestowed upon her in the year 2011. Rose was in the role of Lorrell Robertson on Dreamgirls, which won the Academy Award. Anika Noni rose is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She is best known for playing Tiana Disney's first African-American princess as seen in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Her other notable roles include her theatre performances, specifically due to her roles in the lead role of Emmie Thibodeaux, in The Broadway production of Caroline or Change (2004) for which she won the Tony Award for Best Featured actor in a Musical. Also, she starred as Beneatha Younger as part of A Raisin in the Sun, the Broadway production of A Raisin in the Sun (2014) where she received nominations for the Tony Award for Best Featured actress in a play.

Pivarnick has been an reality TV star in the US since her joining of the top cast of the M.T.V. show Jersey Shore. The years that followed Jersey Shore, she appeared in a variety of reality series, including Couples Therapy as well as Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
